Jürgen Klopp participates in DFB youth football event

Jürgen Klopp joined the German Football Association (DFB) at its campus in Frankfurt to celebrate the 100th edition of the ‘Der beste Tag’ (The Best Day) initiative. The event, designed for youth teams, featured players from SG Oberlahn and Sportfreunde Sölderholz, who won the opportunity through a lottery.

During a press conference with the nine- and ten-year-old athletes, Klopp shared personal anecdotes from his professional and private life. He recounted a humorous incident from his time in Liverpool where he discovered a stranger eating sweets in his living room because a door had been left unlocked. He also shared lighthearted details about his personal life, such as his wife being a faster shopper than him.
