Jürgen Klopp remains neutral on Manchester City financial ruling

Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has declined to comment extensively on the Premier League's decision finding Manchester City guilty of 114 breaches of financial rules. Klopp stated he is waiting to see how the legal process develops, noting that Manchester City intends to appeal the ruling, which covers the period from 2009 to 2018.

Klopp expressed significant respect for Pep Guardiola and the level of football played by Manchester City during their competitive years in the Premier League. While he previously joked about attending celebrations if titles were retroactively awarded to Liverpool, he clarified that he no longer feels that way and remains comfortable with the achievements earned by Liverpool during his tenure.

Manchester City continues to deny all allegations of wrongdoing and is expected to pursue an appeal. The specific sanctions or punishments resulting from the independent commission's findings have not yet been determined.
