Jörgen-Matthias Talviku to Substitute for Alberto Forato at MXGP Lommel

Estonian rider Jörgen‑Matthias Talviku, 23, will replace injured Italian rider Alberto Forato for the Fantic Factory Racing MXGP team at its home Grand Prix in Lommel, Belgium. Forato is still recovering from shoulder‑blade surgery, so Talviku will race alongside Belgian rider Brent Van Doninck on the factory‑spec Fantic XXF 450.

Talviku, who has already contested several MXGP rounds this season, achieved a best result of eighth place in the second Latvian race. Team owner Jacky Martens said the operation went well and recovery is on schedule, while Talviku expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity and reported positive test sessions ahead of his debut.
