Jürgen Milski protests heat and litter crisis at Mallorca’s Ballermann

German entertainer Jürgen Milski, a regular performer on Mallorca’s Ballermann party strip, posted Instagram videos in late July 2026 denouncing both extreme heat and the waste left by tourists on the Playa de Palma promenade. He described temperatures as “unbearably hot, you can barely breathe” and likened the heat to conditions in the United Arab Emirates. In a separate video he called the litter problem “asozial” and “unfassbar,” urging visitors to use the bins that are already provided and to reconsider travelling to Mallorca during peak summer.

Milski’s criticism reflects growing frustration among local performers over the environmental impact of mass tourism. He appealed directly to tourists, saying, “If you sit on the wall, eat and drink, then do not leave your trash there,” and warned that the situation could deter future visitors.

The entertainer, known from Germany’s first season of “Big Brother” in 2000, has been active on the island for years, performing up to 100 shows annually. His statements have sparked discussion on social media about tourist responsibility and the sustainability of the Ballermann nightlife.
