Jürgen Vogel honors death of actress Luna Jordan
Actor Jürgen Vogel has spoken publicly for the first time regarding the death of his colleague, Luna Jordan. In a video shared on Facebook, Vogel expressed the deep loss felt by those who worked with the 25-year-old actress.
Jordan, who appeared in the ZDF crime series ‘Jenseits der Spree’ since its launch in 2021, passed away unexpectedly in May 2026. Vogel, who played her onscreen father, noted that he had previously remained silent to respect the privacy of the situation, but wanted to honor her memory.
The sixth season of ‘Jenseits der Spree’ premiered recently on ZDF, featuring a memorial text card in the opening episode, ‘Kontrollverlust’, dedicated to Jordan. To address her absence in the narrative, the show’s writers scripted her character, Stella, departing for a journey to South America.
