Jürgen Vogel addresses the death of actress Luna Jordan

Actor Jürgen Vogel has broken his silence regarding the sudden death of his colleague, Luna Jordan. In a video posted to Facebook, Vogel addressed the loss of the 25-year-old actress, who passed away unexpectedly in May 2026.

Vogel, who played Jordan’s onscreen father in the ZDF crime series ‘Jenseits der Spree’ since 2021, explained that his months of silence were due to a desire to keep certain matters private and the difficulty of speaking about such loss. He clarified that his lack of public comment was not intended to suggest that the team had moved on or forgotten her, stating, ‘I also did not want the impression to arise that we are just striking all this from our hearts and our lives.’

Vogel expressed that the loss is a ‘huge cut for us as human beings,’ noting that the cast and crew had worked closely with Jordan for six years. His message serves as a collective sentiment for the entire production team. The remarks coincide with the launch of the sixth season of ‘Jenseits der Spree,’ which opened with a tribute to Jordan. In the series, her character, Stella, departs for South America.
