Jūrmala villa fire occurs near Baltic Beach Hotel & SPA

A large fire broke out overnight at the Garden Villa, a two-story wooden building located next to the Baltic Beach Hotel & SPA on Jūras iela in Jūrmala. The fire, which affected approximately 165 square meters including the first and second floors, chimney, attic, and roof, was reported shortly after 2:00 AM.

Two people evacuated the building before the State Fire and Rescue Service arrived. No injuries were reported. The fire was localized by 6:32 AM. While the villa is owned by a separate entity, it is leased by the hotel to provide accommodation. The building is currently closed for repairs, and police are investigating the cause of the blaze.
