AS Monaco defeats PSG 2-1 in Ligue 1 comeback

AS Monaco secured a 2-1 comeback victory against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes during the third round of Ligue 1. Marquinhos opened the scoring for PSG in the 31st minute following an assist from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Monaco responded in the second half, with Flávio Nazinho equalizing in the 58th minute via a header. Stanis Idumbo then scored the winning goal in the 72nd minute to complete the turnaround. The result leaves Monaco at the top of the Ligue 1 standings with a perfect record of three wins from three matches.

Conversely, PSG remains without a league victory this season, sitting in 12th place. The defeat marks their fourth consecutive match without a win across all competitions. PSG manager Luis Enrique noted that while the team has shown mental strength, they have yet to reach their full competitive level.
