JSAUX launches E-Ink and Pixel Matrix faceplates for Steam Machine

JSAUX has launched a series of magnetic replacement faceplates for the Steam Machine, designed to transform the device's front panel into a customizable information display. The product lineup includes three distinct technological options: a monochrome E-Ink version, a color E-Ink version, and a Pixel Matrix version.

The 5.83-inch E-Ink faceplate features a 640 x 480 resolution and utilizes Bluetooth connectivity with a built-in 500mAh battery. Through the JSAUX E-INK app, users can display various data points such as time, weather, calendar, system performance, playtime, and progress. It also includes a Digital Frame mode for static artwork and an AI Agent Status mode to monitor supported AI applications.

The 7-inch Pixel Matrix faceplate offers a full-color RGB display with a 64 x 54-pixel resolution, focusing on animations and pixel-based visual expression. These faceplates are designed for easy installation via a magnetic mounting system, allowing users to switch between different visual styles and information displays without complex assembly.
