JSP Skopje introduces digital card for free student transport

JSP Skopje, with support from the City of Skopje and in collaboration with local universities, is introducing a digital student transport card to facilitate free public transit. The initiative aims to eliminate the need for students to visit ticket counters or provide paper confirmations.

The new system will be available through the SkopjeBus mobile application. Student status will be verified via automatic data synchronization between JSP and the universities, including Ss. Cyril and Methodius University and Mother Teresa University.

To use the service, students will receive instructions via their university email addresses. Once activated in the app, they will use a QR code on their smartphones to validate their travel on buses. The exact date for the service launch has not yet been announced.
