Jéssica Juliana Moraes joins Santa Catarina Military Police
Jéssica Juliana Moraes has graduated as a soldier in the Military Police of Santa Catarina, following in the footsteps of her adoptive father, 3rd Sergeant Ivam Moraes.
The emotional milestone was celebrated during the Formatura do Fogo ceremony at the 1st Military Police Battalion in Itajaí. The event marked the first time the new soldiers wore their official uniforms.
In a video shared on social media, the daughter commemorated the achievement by stating, ‘Pai, a filha que você adotou seguiu sua profissão’ (Father, the daughter you adopted followed your profession). The ceremony also coincided with the 67th anniversary of the 1st Military Police Battalion and the Day of the Soldier. Across the state, 976 temporary students completed this training phase.
