JSW Group expands automotive and logistics operations in India

JSW Group is expanding its footprint in the Indian automotive and industrial sectors through two significant new agreements.

Landmark Cars Ltd has signed letters of intent with JSW Motors, the JSW Group’s new passenger car brand, to establish five new outlets. These locations will include two showrooms and a workshop in South Ahmedabad, one showroom and one workshop in Bhopal, and one showroom in Bhopal. JSW Motors is currently developing a manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, for new energy vehicles, with sales anticipated to begin next financial quarter.

In the logistics sector, Paradeep Parivahan has secured a 10-year tripartite agreement with JSW Cement Limited and JSW Eco-Mobility Private Limited. The contract involves deploying 100 electric heavy-duty trucks to transport approximately 125,000 metric tonnes of clinker and slag per month. The transport route will connect Nandyal in Andhra Pradesh to Vijayanagar in Karnataka. The financial terms of the logistics deal remain undisclosed.
