JSW One Platforms promoters face 340 tax matters ahead of IPO

In its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) filed ahead of its initial public offering (IPO), JSW One Platforms disclosed significant legal and tax-related challenges involving its promoters and subsidiaries.

The company’s promoters are facing 340 tax matters, three criminal proceedings, 36 regulatory or statutory actions, and 11 other significant litigations. The total amount involved in these promoter-related cases is approximately 138.95 billion rupees. Additionally, the promoters have initiated 210 legal proceedings involving roughly 78.28 billion rupees.

Regarding the company itself, JSW One Platforms is facing five tax-related cases totaling 9.57 crore rupees, though it stated no criminal cases are pending against the entity. Its subsidiaries are involved in one criminal case and four tax matters totaling 1.83 crore rupees. The company noted that none of these pending matters are expected to have a severe adverse effect on its business operations.
