J&T Express doubles workforce in Brazil in eight months

J&T Express, an Asian logistics and express delivery group, has doubled its workforce in Brazil during the first eight months of 2026. The company’s direct staff grew from approximately 6,000 in January to over 12,000 by August.

This expansion follows the company’s entry into the Brazilian market in 2022, when it employed only 361 direct workers. The growth is driven by the expansion of its distribution network and e-commerce operations. Currently, the company operates 28 automated distribution centers and more than 6,000 collection points across Brazil, serving clients such as Mercado Livre, Shein, Temu, TikTok Shop, C&A, Magazine Luiza, and Renner.

The company expects to continue hiring throughout the second half of the year as it opens new bases and expands its service portfolio.
