JTB Publishing to release Chiba Prefecture mascot collaboration book

JTB Publishing has announced the release of the “Rurubu Chiba Boso '28 Special Edition: Chiba-kun and Outing BOOK,” scheduled for December 7, 2026. The publication commemorates the upcoming 20th anniversary of Chiba-kun, the mascot character representing the shape of Chiba Prefecture.

The special edition includes an original 3-way shoulder bag featuring Chiba-kun designs, which includes an adjuster for versatile carrying styles and an internal pocket. Additionally, the set provides a booklet that allows users to download the digital version of the “Rurubu Chiba Boso '28” guide for free. The book contains tourism information for Chiba Prefecture and details regarding the mascot's profile.
