JTI highlights economic footprint at Thessaloniki International Fair

JTI has concluded its participation in the 90th International Thessaloniki Fair, where Japan was the honored country. Leveraging its Japanese roots and over four decades of presence in Greece, the company used the event to highlight its investment, production, and export footprint within the Greek economy.

A notable highlight was the visit of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to the JTI pavilion at the Japan Pavilion. The company also hosted ‘An Evening at the Japanese Water Garden’ at the Japanese Water Garden in Thessaloniki, an event attended by diplomatic, political, and business representatives, including Japanese Ambassador Ito Koichi and JTI Hellas General Manager Janine Neuhaus. The evening featured an opera titled ‘The Eternal Song of the Four Heavens – Lafcadio Hearn’ to celebrate the cultural ties between Greece and Japan.
