Juan Alano joins Sport from Ceará

Midfielder Juan Alano has joined Sport, following his departure from Ceará. The 29-year-old signed an initial contract that runs until February 28, 2027.

Sport has acquired 100% of the player's economic rights without paying a transfer fee to Ceará, though the rescission of his previous contract includes a financial compensation clause for Ceará. The agreement includes provisions for automatic renewals through December 2027 and December 2028. For the first renewal, either party can opt out by paying R$ 1 million to the other.

Future financial terms are tied to the club's division and Alano's performance, with adjustments based on potential promotion to the top flight. Alano, who previously played in Japan for Kashima Antlers and Gamba Osaka, has already completed medical and physical evaluations at the CT José Andrade Médicis.
