Juan Brunetta attracts transfer interest from Saudi Arabian club Al-Diriyah

Argentine midfielder Juan Brunetta is the subject of significant transfer interest from the Saudi Arabian club Al-Diriyah. Reports indicate that the newly promoted Saudi side is preparing offers to secure the Tigres UANL player to bolster their squad for competition against major clubs like Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.

Estimates regarding the transfer fee vary between 13 million and 16 million dollars. While some reports suggest Tigres has not yet analyzed the offers due to a focus on hiring a new manager, other sources indicate the club is reviewing the situation. Brunetta’s release clause is reportedly set at approximately 20 million dollars, which may necessitate negotiations between the two clubs.

The potential departure of Brunetta has direct implications for other Liga MX teams; specifically, Cruz Azul had identified the midfielder as a primary target to strengthen their midfield, but they may now lose the opportunity to sign him.
