Juan Carlos Cresto calls for Peronist party reforms
Juan Carlos ‘Calucho’ Cresto, a veteran political leader, has addressed the current state of Peronism in Entre Ríos. Cresto argued that the Provincial Council of the Justicialist Party should lead the movement's reconstruction, noting that the current leadership lacks sufficient party authority. He has called for internal elections to renew leadership and define future candidacies.
Cresto also raised questions regarding party finances, citing the party's organic charter which mandates a 10% contribution from certain elected officials, including governors, mayors, and legislators. He highlighted the need for transparency regarding how these resources are collected, managed, and controlled within the party structure.
