Juan Carlos Garrido appointed as Volos FC head coach

Volos FC has officially announced the appointment of Spanish coach Juan Carlos Garrido as the new head coach of the club. Garrido succeeds Kostas Bratsos, who left his position following a 1-0 defeat against Panathinaikos.

Garrido, 57, brings extensive international experience to the Thessaly-based team. His career includes a notable tenure at Villarreal between 2010 and 2012, where he led the club to the Europa League semi-finals in 2011. His previous coaching roles include positions at Club Brugge, Real Betis, Al Ahly, Al Ettifaq, Raja Casablanca, Al Ain, Castellon, Al Ittihad, and MC Oran.

Joining the technical staff are Ariel Ibagaza, the former Olympiacos player, as assistant coach, and Javier Oliva as goalkeeper coach.
