Juan del Val denies rumors of veto at Premio Planeta awards

Writer Juan del Val has addressed social media rumors regarding his absence from the 75th anniversary Premio Planeta awards ceremony in Barcelona. Following speculation that he had been ‘vetoed’ by the organization, del Val clarified during a broadcast of ‘La Roca’ that he was indeed invited.

Del Val explained that his absence was due to professional scheduling conflicts, specifically noting that he had a live commitment with the program ‘El Hormiguero’. He also used the opportunity to congratulate Isabel Allende, the winner of this year's award for her novel ‘La hora antes del alba’.
