Juan Francisco Manzueta endorses David Collado for presidency

Juan Francisco Manzueta, the former mayor of Peralvillo known as ‘El Profe’, has announced his support and the support of his political team for David Collado’s presidential aspirations within the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM). The announcement was made during a swearing-in ceremony in Monte Plata, led by Víctor Pichardo, the provisional provincial president of the PRM.

Manzueta stated that the decision to back Collado was made after consulting with his political team, noting that many members expressed a preference for Collado despite existing political commitments. Pichardo emphasized that this integration is intended to secure victory in the Peralvillo municipality and strengthen the presidential project within the province.

The group is preparing for the party's internal processes, with an internal convention scheduled for October 3, 2027, ahead of the 2028 elections. Manzueta called for party unity following the convention and urged followers to work within their communities to recruit new supporters.
