Juan Gómez takes temporary leave from ‘Saber y ganar’

Juan Gómez, a contestant on the RTVE program ‘Saber y ganar’, has announced a temporary hiatus from the competition due to professional obligations. During the broadcast on Friday, October 16, Gómez explained that his responsibilities as a teacher require his full attention as he prepares to evaluate his 110 students.

Gómez, who has participated in 23 episodes and is currently 2,000 points away from achieving the ‘Magnífico’ title, expressed difficulty in balancing his teaching duties with the show. Host Jordi Hurtado confirmed that the program’s format allows participants a single justified absence, welcoming Gómez’s eventual return.

Before his departure, Gómez, who is also a musician, performed a brief piece on the ukulele dedicated to his students.
