Juan Hoyos surrenders in Tucumán shooting investigation
Juan Hoyos has surrendered to authorities in San Miguel de Tucumán following a manhunt related to a shooting that injured a seven-year-old child. Hoyos presented himself at the 13th Police Station accompanied by his lawyer, Mariana Santillán, and is now at the disposal of the judiciary.
The investigation stems from an incident on September 25 in the southern zone of the capital, where two individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on a residence. A projectile struck the child in the abdomen.
His brother, Jesús Cristóbal Hoyos, also known as ‘Jesús Comunica’, remains in custody. He is accused of acting as the motorcycle driver during the attack. The case has been filed under charges of gun abuse and attempted homicide.
