Juan Ignacio Martínez appointed as Real España manager

Real España has officially presented Spanish coach Juan Ignacio Martínez as the new manager of the club. Martínez succeeds Jeaustin Campos and an interim period led by Mauro Reyes, who maintained the team's momentum with three wins and a draw.

Martínez takes charge of a team currently leading the Torneo Apertura 2026 and remains undefeated. During his presentation, the Alicante-born coach stated, “I assume responsibility from minute one. I do not run from objectives and I know the place where I have come.” While he declined to make specific title promises, he emphasized that he and his technical staff will be “dedicated completely 24 hours a day.”

Martínez brings extensive international experience, having managed clubs such as Levante, Real Valladolid, Almería, Real Zaragoza, Albacete, and Cartagena, as well as stints in China, Kuwait, and Iran. He will be supported by assistant coach Juan Manuel Guerrero and physical trainer Jorge López.
