Juan Lerma honored for scientific career in neuroscience

The Institute for Neurosciences (IN), a joint center of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), hosted a special event to honor the scientific career of Juan Lerma. Lerma is a CSIC Research Professor ad honorem at the institute.

The tribute gathered researchers from Spain, the United Kingdom, and Portugal to recognize Lerma’s contributions to neuroscience, his mentorship, and his role in training new generations of scientists. Participants included representatives from the University of Sussex, the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville, the University of Coimbra, and King’s College London, alongside various members of the IN CSIC-UMH community.
