Juan Lin's 'Visioni in Blu' and 'Profondo Blu' exhibitions open in Florence
Chinese artist Juan Lin presents two consecutive exhibitions in Florence that explore the colour blue as a structural concept. The first show, "Visioni in Blu," is displayed in the Ginori Hall of Palazzo Medici Riccardi and runs until 13 August. The second, "Profondo Blu," is hosted by the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno from 18 to 30 August.
Lin, trained at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, creates oil paintings that blend abstract forms with layered, atmospheric surfaces, echoing the legacy of Yves Klein. The works focus on expansive horizontal fields, geometric insertions, and subtle textures, forming a visual geography of memory derived from his travel sketches.
