Juan Luis Guerra to join Ramón Orlando’s 50th anniversary concert

Singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra will join the celebration of Ramón Orlando’s 50-year musical career. The event, titled ‘50 años Ramón Orlando y sus amigos’, is scheduled for September 23, 2026, at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo.

The concert is expected to feature more than 60 national and international artists across genres such as merengue, bachata, and salsa. Previously announced performers include Milly Quezada, Sergio Vargas, Miriam Cruz, Fernando Villalona, Los Hermanos Rosario, Eddy Herrera, Bonny Cepeda, Aramis Camilo, José Alberto ‘El Canario’, Pochy Familia, and El Prodigio.

Ramón Orlando noted that the collaboration with Guerra’s team proceeded smoothly and emphasized that the event represents a significant moment of unity and brotherhood among different generations of Dominican musicians. Guerra expressed his satisfaction in participating to honor Orlando’s five decades of contributions to national music.
