Juan Manuel Galán visits Ibagué to honor father's legacy

Juan Manuel Galán, president of the Nuevo Liberalismo party, visited Ibagué in the Tolima department to commemorate the 37th anniversary of the assassination of his father, Luis Carlos Galán Sarmiento. During the visit, a mural was unveiled by party youth to honor his father's legacy as a political educator and advocate for democratic consciousness.

He also discussed the party's potential involvement in upcoming regional elections in Tolima and reiterated the importance of fighting corruption and clientelism in Colombia.
