Juan Manuel Rengifo ranked among top South American U-23 players

Atlético Nacional midfielder Juan Manuel ‘Titi’ Rengifo has been ranked as the second-best under-23 player in South America for chance creation, according to the latest CIES Football Observatory rankings. The study evaluates players based on their ability to generate scoring opportunities for teammates through passing.

Despite recently starting matches from the bench in the Liga BetPlay, Rengifo’s individual statistics remain high. Since his professional debut, he has recorded 44 matches, 11 goals, and nine assists. In 2026, he has already registered 49 chances created. In May, the CIES Football Observatory also identified him as the most valuable player in Colombia, with an estimated valuation of 5.24 million euros.
