Juan Manuel Rossi denies drug use allegations in Entre Ríos

Juan Manuel Rossi, a provincial deputy for the Socialist Party in Entre Ríos, has denied allegations of drug use during a legislative session following the viral spread of a video. The footage, which circulated widely on social media, appeared to show Rossi making a gesture with an object near his face during a debate on pension reform.

Rossi clarified that the object was a ballpoint pen and claimed he was using it to scratch his navel. He characterized the video as a malicious political operation orchestrated by sectors of the Justicialist Party (PJ) to damage his reputation. To resolve the controversy, Rossi has offered to undergo a toxicology test to prove his innocence.

The incident occurred amidst heightened political tension in the Entre Ríos Chamber of Deputies, where Rossi has also been involved in heated verbal exchanges with opposition legislators Laura Stratta and Andrea Zoff regarding parliamentary procedures.
