Argentine tennis player Juan Martín del Potro has won the public vote for induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, United States. This victory places him closer to joining the Class of 2027.

Del Potro secured the top spot in a global popular vote spanning 128 countries, surpassing Ashleigh Barty of Australia and Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia. Under the Hall of Fame's selection system, the public vote provides bonus percentage points that are added to the results from the Official Voting Group, which consists of historians, journalists, and Hall of Fame members. Del Potro receives a three percent bonus, while Barty and Kuznetsova receive two and one percent, respectively.

To be officially inducted, a candidate must achieve at least 75% of the combined affirmative votes. If successful, Del Potro will join fellow Argentines Guillermo Vilas and Gabriela Sabatini in the Hall of Fame. His career highlights cited include his 2009 US Open title, the 2016 Davis Cup victory with Argentina, and reaching a career-high world ranking of number three.
