Honduras courts dismiss fraud charges against Juan Orlando Hernández
Honduran courts have issued major rulings in two high-profile legal cases. In the 'Pandora II' investigation, a judge granted definitive dismissal to former President Juan Orlando Hernández against charges of fraud and money laundering. The court determined there was no traceability of the funds allegedly used to finance his political campaigns between 2010 and 2013. The court ordered the dismissal of the case due to a lack of sufficient evidence to support the charges of terrorism and association.
