Juan Osorio faces legal action over alleged 10 million peso fraud

Producer Juan Osorio is facing legal action following allegations of fraud brought by former associate Rafael Portillo. Portillo claims he invested 10 million pesos into the production of ‘Aventurera’ under an agreement to be a 50% partner, handling the artistic side while Osorio managed finances.

Portillo alleges that the investment was made in cash and that he failed to secure a formal contract, an error he now regrets. He claims that after 16 weeks of requesting financial clarity, he discovered other investors were involved and that his funds have not been returned. Portillo stated he is currently paying interest on loans taken to fund the project and has initiated both civil and criminal legal proceedings against Osorio.
