Juan Pablo Buch joins Orense SC as Libertad FC appoints Jorge Célico

Juan Pablo Buch has moved from Libertad FC to become the new head coach of Orense SC. The transition occurred after Orense SC paid the release clause in Buch’s contract, a move Libertad FC president Marlon Granda confirmed was handled in good terms and for economic reasons.

Buch leaves Libertad FC in a strong competitive position, having secured 27 points from 42 matches, a 64.3% success rate. Following his departure, Libertad FC has officially appointed Jorge Célico as their new manager. Célico, who has previous experience with clubs such as Barcelona and Emelec, will be supported by assistant Patricio Lara and physical trainer Diego Cuvi. The primary objective for Célico and his staff is to maintain Libertad's position in the standings to secure a spot in the 2027 Copa Sudamericana. The new technical staff is scheduled to make their debut on October 9 against Leones FC.
