Juan Pablo Rodríguez attends exoneration dinner in Viña del Mar

Former Undersecretary of Finance Juan Pablo Rodríguez attended a dinner in Viña del Mar intended to clear his name following his resignation after a positive drug test. The event, held at the Hotel Sheraton Miramar and organized by the P!ensa Foundation, was attended by approximately 250 people, including government officials, business leaders, and parliamentarians from various political sectors such as the Christian Democracy Party, RN, UDI, and the Republican Party.

Rodríguez maintained his loyalty to President José Antonio Kast’s administration while insisting on his innocence and the need to defend his honor. He has publicly challenged the validity of the laboratory results that led to his departure from the Executive branch. Supporters at the event, including several senators, characterized his exit from office as unjust and expressed their continued belief in his professional integrity.
