Juan Ramón Jiménez Birthplace House sees record summer attendance

The Juan Ramón Jiménez Birthplace House has concluded its summer cycle of dramatized visits with record attendance. A total of 521 people participated across 16 sessions held during July and August.

Developed by Evoé Teatro, the initiative recreates the visit made by poet Juan Ramón Jiménez and Zenobia Camprubí to the house on June 25, 1916, shortly after their marriage in New York. This year's edition included a special tribute to Purificación Mantecón López-Parejo, the poet's mother, known as ‘Mamá Pura’, incorporating her influence into the script.

The performances featured M. A. Franco as Juan Ramón Jiménez and Miriam Bernal as Zenobia Camprubí, utilizing a combination of acting and literature to offer an interactive experience regarding the poet's life and his connection to Moguer.
