Juan Reynoso loses debut match with Club Necaxa

Juan Reynoso suffered a 3-1 defeat in his debut match as manager of Club Necaxa during the ninth round of Liga MX against Atlético de San Luis. Despite an early lead in the 10th minute by Julián Carranza, Necaxa could not maintain the advantage.

San Luis responded with an equalizer from Felipe Mora in the 27th minute. The momentum shifted further in the second half when an own goal by goalkeeper Christopher Andrade put San Luis ahead 2-1 in the 54th minute. Eduardo Aguila secured the victory for the home side with a third goal in the 81st minute.

Following the match, Reynoso described the result as “not a pleasant moment” and noted the difficulty of managing a team mid-competition. He emphasized the need to maintain a positive mentality to reverse the club's current slump, as Necaxa has now gone seven consecutive matches without a win and sits 15th in the standings. The team will prepare for an upcoming match against Club América.
