Juan Tamariz's widow accuses children of isolation and property sales

A family dispute has emerged following the death of renowned Spanish magician Juan Tamariz, who passed away at age 83 due to complications from Parkinson's disease. His widow, Consuelo Lorgia, has publicly accused his four children of isolating her and preventing her from saying goodbye to him.

Lorgia claims that when she returned to their shared home in Madrid, she discovered Tamariz had been moved to a care facility without her knowledge. She alleges that she was not listed as an authorized person at the residence and only gained access by presenting wedding photographs. She further stated that she was not informed of his death until the funeral arrangements were already underway.

In additional statements, Lorgia expressed severe financial distress, claiming she can no longer afford the rent for their Madrid apartment. She has accused the children of selling the magician's properties, including their previous home and the Madrid apartment, leaving her in a precarious living situation. While the children have not released formal public statements, sources close to them suggest they cared for their father and that his decisions were made while he was lucid.
