Juana la Loca releases new version of ‘Perdí la fe’ with Walas
Argentine rock band Juana la Loca has released a new version of their classic song ‘Perdí la fe’, recorded alongside Walas, the frontman of Massacre. The track, originally released in 2002 on the album Belleza, features updated arrangements including string orchestration in the chorus and a blend of synthesizers and guitar.
This release serves as a preview for the band’s upcoming studio album, Subversónica. The project revisits various moments of the group’s career through collaborations with several prominent figures from the national scene, including Santiago Motorizado, Fernando Ruiz Díaz of Catupecu Machu, Mosca of 2 Minutos, and Toti Iglesias of Jóvenes Pordioseros. The album will also feature an unreleased track titled ‘Mucho ego’.
To celebrate the new material, Juana la Loca will perform a live concert at The Roxy in Buenos Aires on October 10. The show is expected to feature songs from Subversónica alongside other career classics and special guest appearances.
