Juancho Hernangómez discusses friendship and character of Nikola Jokić

Former Denver Nuggets teammate Juancho Hernangómez has shared insights into the character and personal life of Nikola Jokić, reflecting on their four-year friendship from 2016 to 2020.

In an interview with Meridian Sport, Hernangómez described Jokić as a humble and hardworking individual with a strong connection to his family, including his parents, siblings, and wife. He noted that Jokić was a fun presence in the locker room who maintained a lighthearted attitude.

Hernangómez jokingly referred to himself as Jokić’s “driver,” noting that he frequently drove the Serbian star to dinners following games during their time together in Denver. Despite playing in Europe for the last three years, Hernangómez remains in close contact with Jokić through a mutual group of friends.
