Juanita Botero releases ‘Sueños’, lead single from new EP
Colombian artist Juanita Botero has released ‘Sueños’, the lead single from her upcoming five-song EP of the same name. Produced by Jutha, the track is a banda corrido centered on themes of personal motivation and determination.
The single has already gained traction on streaming platforms, reaching number 69 on Spotify’s Local Pulse Bogotá chart during the week of August 7 to 13. The EP, which was developed during a songwriting camp, will feature a variety of genres including cumbia, ranchera, bolero, and banda, exploring themes of love and personal growth.
Botero, a former semifinalist on La Voz Kids 2024, has also received nominations for the 2025 Estela Awards in Guatemala in the categories of Best Female Performance and Best Regional Song. The remaining tracks from the EP are expected to be released progressively between late 2026 and early 2027.
