Sevilla FC have completed the transfer of 22‑year‑old right‑back Juanlu Sánchez to Premier League side AFC Bournemouth. The deal is reported to be worth up to £11.1 million, with an initial fixed fee of £9.4 million and add‑ons that could bring the total to £11.1 million. Sánchez signed a five‑year contract running to June 2031.

The player made 109 senior appearances for Sevilla, scoring six goals and providing 11 assists, and was part of the club’s UEFA Europa League‑winning squad in 2023. He also won Olympic gold with Spain at the 2024 Paris Games. Bournemouth’s director of football operations Tiago Pinto praised Sánchez’s experience and potential, while manager Marco Rose welcomed him as a long‑term replacement for Adam Smith.

Sevilla will receive a fresh cash injection that supports its financial planning, and Sánchez expressed excitement about playing in the Premier League and living in Bournemouth.
