Juanola celebrates 120 years of pharmaceutical tradition

Juanola, a Barcelona-based brand specializing in throat and voice care, celebrated its 120th anniversary with an institutional event at its production plant in Sant Quirze del Vallès. The company, which is part of Angelini Pharma, traces its origins back to 1906 when pharmacist Manuel Juanola Reixach created the first Juanola lozenges in the Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona.

The commemorative event included the mayor of Sant Quirze del Vallès and representatives from the Col·legi de Farmacèutics de Barcelona. Attendees toured the facilities to observe current production processes and the brand's evolution. Daniel Gheorghe, General Director of Angelini Pharma Spain, emphasized the company's commitment to evolving and innovating while maintaining its pharmaceutical traditions and local roots.
