Juanra Calvo confirmed as Meta Catania coach for 2026‑27 season

Spanish coach Juanra Calvo has been re‑appointed to lead the Meta Catania Bricocity futsal team for the 2026‑27 campaign, marking his fourth consecutive year at the helm. Under his guidance the club secured two Serie A titles, reached three national finals and achieved a historic domestic Grand Slam by winning the Supercoppa Italiana, Coppa Italia and Coppa della Divisione in a single season – a first in Italian futsal.

Meta Catania also performed strongly in Europe, finishing among the top ten teams in the UEFA Futsal Champions League in the last two editions. The club plans to build on this foundation with a refreshed roster of Italian players and new foreign talent, aiming to continue its domestic dominance and European competitiveness.
