Juara highway paving project awarded R$ 52.6 million contract
The Mato Grosso State Secretariat of Infrastructure and Logistics (Sinfra) has approved the bidding process for the paving of 24.4 kilometers of the MT-338 highway in Juara. Edeconsil Construções has been confirmed as the winning company for the project, which is valued at R$ 52.6 million.
The construction stretch will run from the junction with MT-235 in Juara toward MT-417, serving the Águas Claras region. This project marks the first stage of a larger road corridor expansion plan. The next steps involve the formal contracting of the company and the issuance of a service order by the governor.
The paving is intended to improve transport conditions for local producers of soy, corn, livestock, and timber, who currently face traffic difficulties due to rain and dust. State deputy Ondanir Bortolini (Nininho) led the efforts to secure the project through negotiations with the state government.
