Juazeiro do Norte doubles Marias do Juá Fair vacancies

The City Hall of Juazeiro do Norte has doubled the number of available spots for the Marias do Juá Fair during the Romaria de Nossa Senhora das Dores. Due to high demand, the Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism, and Pilgrimage (SEDETUR) increased the vacancies from 30 to 60.

The expanded event will now run from September 10 to 15, 2026. To maintain structural quality, the 60 female entrepreneurs will be divided into two groups of 30. Group 1 will operate from September 10 to 12, and Group 2 will operate from September 13 to 15. The slots are divided into 40 positions for handicrafts and manual labor, and 20 positions for artisanal food and beverages.
