Juazeiro establishes new schedule for municipal public exams

A new schedule has been established for municipal public service exams in Juazeiro, Bahia, for the years 2026 and 2027. The updated timeline was finalized through an addendum signed by the Public Ministry of the State of Bahia (MPBA), the Municipality of Juazeiro, and the Water and Environmental Sanitation Service (SAAE).

The revision was necessary to address administrative, technical, and legislative obstacles that prevented the original schedule from being met. These issues included the need to revise municipal legislation, create or extinguish positions, update career plans, revise the Public Servant Statute, and implement complementary social security.

The recruitment process will occur in two stages. The first stage includes positions in Education, Administration, and the Municipal Attorney's Office, with notices expected to be published by September. The second stage will cover remaining municipal administration roles, such as Health, Social Assistance, and municipal autarchies, with notices expected in the second half of 2027 and appointments through January 2028.
