Juchheim announces nine-hour J-WAVE radio special for November 3

Juchheim, the confectionery company, has announced a nine-hour special radio program titled ‘J-WAVE HOLIDAY SPECIAL Juchheim presents TURN IT OVER!’ to be broadcast on J-WAVE on November 3. This marks the fifth year of the company’s holiday special programming.

The program’s theme, ‘the backside,’ focuses on discovering the essence of things by looking beneath the surface, much like reading the ingredient labels on the back of food packaging. The broadcast will feature various guests, including film director Takashi Yamazaki, novelist Ryo Asai, and members of the global boy group INI, such as Shu Wenfan and Hiromu Takatsuka.

Navigators Yuka Itaya and Sasha will host the event. Additionally, the program includes a segment called ‘Slash Zero Mitsuketai,’ led by singer-songwriter Shinatsuki Kawanishi, which searches for foods made without food additives. Juchheim is also hosting a social media campaign, ‘#SlashZeroMitsuketa,’ encouraging listeners to share photos of food packaging that meet their ‘slash zero’ criteria.
