Judd Trump has advanced to the semi-finals of the Shenzhen Open following a dominant 5-0 victory over Mark Selby. Trump secured the win with breaks of 79, 77, 63, 52, and 51, maintaining his streak of reaching at least the quarter-finals in four consecutive events.

Trump is scheduled to face reigning world champion Wu Yize in the semi-finals. Wu previously advanced to the final eight by defeating Ricky Walden 5-3.

Earlier in the tournament, Trump reached the quarter-finals by defeating Si Jiahui 5-2. The event has seen strong attendance, which Trump attributed to China’s Golden Week holidays.
